Resource Centers

In 2025, the Alameda Superior Court expanded pretrial services by opening Pretrial Services Resource Centers in its main criminal courthouses. The centers are spaces where court-involved people can receive one-on-one assistance connecting to services and resources in the community, complying with pretrial release conditions, and appearing for court hearings. Centers provide additional barrier removal services such as transportation assistance, housing resources, assistance enrolling in public benefits, donation closet, and hygiene kits. Individuals can drop into the Resource Centers without a referral or appointment. Individuals can also call Pretrial Services at (510) 891-6100 to receive assistance over the phone.
