Notice

eCourt System Outage and Interim Procedures

The Court is working through the weekend to install new patches for a security threat that, according to national news outlets,  has shut down websites throughout the world. We expect to have eCourt operational by this upcoming week.

In the meantime, you may access information about your case by calling or visiting the appropriate clerks office. For locations, contact information, and business hours visit: https://www.alameda.courts.ca.gov/general-information/locations-contact-information. If you are having trouble filing through your chosen EFSP, please try an alternative EFSP or visit a clerks office to file any necessary documents.

If you were required to contest a tentative ruling during the outage and you either could not access the tentative ruling or could not use eCourt to contest the matter, we will ask court staff and the bench to assume all matters were contested and to permit argument unless the parties inform the court prior to or during the hearing that the matter is not contested or no one appears to contest the tentative ruling.

If you need to reserve a date for a motion or other hearing and you cannot wait until eCourt service is restored, please email or call the department in which your case is being heard. To view the Judicial Directory and contact information for the courtrooms visit: https://www.alameda.courts.ca.gov/system/files/general/2026-judicial-directory-and-assignments_eff-202608103-pj-final.pdf

If the security threat persists beyond Monday morning then the court will provide further instructions concerning how to reserve hearing dates and other issues.
