Paratransit Buses - Wheelchair/Disability Accessibility

Douglas Parking (Madison)
- Location: 1309 Madison Street, at corner of 13th Street
- Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
- Cost: $14 per day
- Walking Distance to Courthouse: 2 minutes
Harrison Street Parking Garage
- Location: 274 12th Street, at Harrison
- Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
- Cost: $1 every 20 minutes, $24 daily maximum, $30 lost coin fee

Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center
- Location: 10 10th Street, behind the Oakland Museum of California

Douglas Parking (Harrison)

Laz/Douglas Parking (Harrison)
- Location: 1434 Harrison Street, in front of the Cliff Apartment building

Lakeshore Avenue
- Location: 1200 to 1500 Lakeshore Avenue, southeast corner of Lake Merritt off 1st Avenue
- Hours: No parking on lake side of street Thursdays 12:30 – 3:30 p.m, no parking on other side Fridays 12:30 – 3:30 p.m., Court is not responsible for any tickets issued to vehicles

Metered parking:
($2 an hour, 2 hour limit)
- Location: Various locations around courthouse. The spaces immediately surrounding the courthouse are not open to the public.
- Hours: Meters operational 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., two hour limit. We advise jurors and prospective jurors not to park at meters because it's possible they will not be given a recess in time to add money to meters. The court is not responsible for any tickets issued to vehicles.

Alternate modes of transportation
Bike
Public bike parking is located in front of the AlcoBike parking garage on 13th st underneath the AlcoPark public parking garage. There is also a small bike rack on 10th Street next to the Oakland Museum of California.
Various locations in Oakland have bikes available for rent. Bikes can be rented through mobile smartphone applications. Rental bikes generally need to be returned to designated locations. There is a FordGo biking station is located at 1418 Lakeside drive, two blocks from the courthouse.
Electric scooters
Electric scooters are mostly available around Lake Merritt and in downtown Oakland. They can be rented through mobile smartphone applications.
Ride sharing
Ride sharing or carpool services can pick-up from any location and drop-off directly in front of the courthouse. Rides are arranged through mobile smartphone applications. Pricing varies.
