Mandatory Face Covering Requirements:

 Effective Monday, July 19, 2021, all persons entering any court facility will be required to properly wear a face covering over their nose and mouth, regardless of their vaccination status.

Important Information:

Beginning June 15, 2021, all courthouses are open to the public and most in-person services are restored.

Effective Monday, May 3, 2021, the Appeals Division Located at 1225 Fallon Street G-4, Oakland, CA 94612 will be open daily for appellate filings from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. To facilitate timely processing, this in-person opportunity means the Court will no longer accept appellate filings made via the RCD drop box, although parties may still submit appellate filings via U.S. mail, fax filing (for civil), and e-filing for criminal).

As a reminder, all Court visitors are subject to health screening, must maintain six feet of social distance and wear a face mask at all times while in the courthouse.

Exhibit Service Office

Effective Monday, May 3, 2021, the Exhibit Division Located at 1225 Fallon Street G-4, Oakland, CA 94612 will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Parties that have an Order for return of evidence or exhibits must call 510-891-6001 or email exhibitservices@alameda.courts.ca.gov to schedule an appointment for the ordered return. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
