Zoom Transition Information

 

CASE TYPE

STATUS

General Civil

  • Many non-trial remote proceedings already occurring on Zoom
  • All remote proceedings will be by Zoom beginning August 1, 2022
  • All proceedings for September 2022 and thereafter are being noticed with Zoom information
  • For proceedings occurring in August 2022 that were already noticed with non-Zoom information, Zoom information will be provided by the Court via the tentative rulings

Small Claims and Civil Harassment

  • All remote proceedings transitioned to Zoom effective July 5, 2022
  • Information regarding Superior Court of California, County of Alameda remote hearing instructions for Small Claims or Civil Restraining Order hearings located here.

  • Información sobre las instrucciones de audiencia remota de la Corte Superior de California, Condado de Alameda para reclamos menores o audiencias de órdenes de restricción civil ubicadas aquí.

Family

  • Information regarding remote hearing instructions for Restraining Order or Family Law hearings located here.

  • All remote proceedings beginning July 18, 2022, were noticed with Zoom information
  • Any matter reset by the Court for July 18, or thereafter, was renoticed with Zoom information
  • In RFO departments, most proceedings are in-person; if a party requests a remote hearing, the Court will provide Zoom information

Probate

  • All remote proceedings have transitioned to Zoom

Traffic

  • All remote proceedings have transitioned to Zoom

Juvenile

  • All remote proceedings will transition to Zoom effective August 1, 2022
  • Notice of Zoom information will be provided by the Court, Probation Department, and/or Department of Social Services

Criminal

  • Court is assessing how best to transition remote proceedings to Zoom given recent passage of AB 199
