Criminal Court Self Help - Payment Of Fines

The Judge will either order you to pay your fine by a specific date or will grant you monthly payments. Fines must be paid on time or a warrant for your arrest may be issued.

Payment to the Court

If you are ordered to pay your fine to the Court, you must pay the fine in person or by mail at the Court Facility you appeared in. You may pay by cash, check, money order or cashier check. Please do not mail cash. Make checks payable to the Clerk of the Superior Court and include your court case number.

Installment Payments to Central Collections

There is a thirty five dollar ($35) service fee to set up a monthly installment payment account. Payments may be by mail or in person. Please make your checks payable to Central Collections. On each payment, be sure to print your name, Social Security Number & your court case number in the lower left hand corner of your check or money. DO NOT MAIL CASH.

Extensions

If you cannot pay your fine to the court before the due date, you must request an extension. If you were placed on court probation, you must contact the clerk’s office for instructions on how to obtain an extension. If you were placed on formal probation, you must contact your probation officer to request an extension.

If you cannot make an installment payment, you must contact Central Collections for instructions.
