Parking enforcement is the highest contact citizens have with law enforcement. Citations are issued under all sorts of fraudulent circumstances. Possession of a citation is proof of guilt.
The reports of these community meetings should be available in the libraries and have publicity.
The report issued by the Supreme Court and Council of Judges does not reflect the discussion in these meetings.
The public is being mistreated by security officers who pretend to be police and wear false badges with no number, only partly in view. (See SF Chronicle Dec. 29, 2000)

I have several concerns and very much appreciate the outreach to the community.
There is a tendency to use a “cookie cutter” approach to apprehending a “criminal”. There is too much stereotyping that leads t innocent people being railroaded into prison.*
The behavior of prosecutors who get carried away trying to win their cases. I know of cases in which the prosecution has suppressed evidence and witnesses that would assist the defendant. How does this happen?*
