The Superior Court of California, County of Alameda announces that as of February 3, 2003, all offices of the Clerk and administrative offices receiving the public will close at 4:00 p.m. daily.

Telephone service will continue until 5:00 p.m. daily.

Presiding Judge Harry Sheppard has also asked all judges and commissioners to end court proceedings by 4:30 p.m. daily starting on Monday, January 6, 2003. Pending further review, night court sessions held in various court locations for small claims and traffic cases will continue.

These changes in operating hours are effective in all court locations countywide.
