Evidence Presentation

The Court has two mobile evidence presentation systems available for use at trial: the DOAR system in Dept. 512 at the Hayward Hall of Justice, and the NOMAD system for use in North County courtrooms. These systems provide counsel with evidence presentation capability for documentary, physical and computer-based evidence.

Mobile evidence presentation systems are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, the courtrooms of the Rene C. Davidson Courthouse, as well as Departments 20 and 22 of the County Administration Building, have built-in evidence presentation systems that include document cameras, disk players, and flat screen monitors.

There is no charge for use of these systems. Counsel are urged to contact the appropriate trial court well before beginning their trial presentations, to determine availability and to familiarize themselves with the systems' operation.
