Ms. Fox stated, "I look forward to working with the judges, commissioners, staff and justice partners in the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Cruz, and continuing my affiliations with others in the judicial branch throughout the state to develop business solutions to improve the administration of justice. The Superior Court in the County of Santa Cruz has a tradition of advancing excellence in the administration of justice, through its judges, commissioners and staff, as well as active participation in advisory committees of the California Judicial Council. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the Court Executive Officer during these exciting and dynamic times."

She is a consummate dedicated professional and is highly valued by the judges, commissioners and court staff for her knowledge, strategic thinking, dedication and assistance."

Arthur Sims, Executive Officer of the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda said "although Barbara's departure will be a great loss, we are all extremely excited for her. This followed previous assignments in municipal government and the educational attainment of a Master of Public Administration degree.

Throughout her career, she has received numerous commendations for outstanding leadership and public service and has authored several professional publications.
